I had thought my toughest challenge this year would be adjusting back into full time work after maternity leave. I had never foreseen bouncing a 6-month-old on my knee whilst working from our lounge, constantly swatting his podgy hand away like a persistent fly from my headphones and the keyboard.

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, 'I will try again tomorrow'.
