Debs is a communications and public relations professional with six years experience in health, science and the built environment.
A graduate of University College London (UCL), she has a BSc (Hons) in Speech Sciences and qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist.
During her time working with patients with traumatic brain injuries and severe learning difficulties, she discovered a lack of communications to suit the ability of her patients and their families and set out to make a difference.
Her career has seen her take on roles in the NHS, pharmaceuticals, housing and construction industries. Each role has had the same mission – to make complicated messages accessible and understandable to all members of the public.
She is an active member of her local church and community, volunteering her skills and time to develop communications to support their work and mission.
She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (MCIPR) and a Member of the Institute of Internal Communications (MIIC) and is committed to continuing her professional development.
